Off The Registry

Typically bridal shower gifts are expected to be bought from the wedding registry. Yet so many lingerie websites now offer registries as well, so I don't see why the bridal shower can't be more of a "fill my trousseau" party. Traditionally, the party was held to help stock the bride's cedar "Hope Chest" with exquisite lingerie, embroidered linens, clothing for her honeymoon, fine china, toiletries and of course money. Declining to purchase what I'm sure was a much needed crock-pot, I decided to go off the registry and get some delicate and lacy lingerie instead. ($100)

Hey there Lady. I would say Bridal Showers are where the Bride has family young and old so nothing too raunchy. O but the Bachelorette party is where the very sexy lingerie should be gifted. But if it's on her registry then hey, she asked for it. ;-)

NO harm in a little fun. This set is sexy but sweet. Is this what you got AM? I never saw!

Nobody got to see it! I think it was this set from Simone Perele but in white.
